Question: Hi, I live in a small apartment building with a LiftMaster Barrier Gate. The control pads for adding new remotes is a LiftMaster Star 450 unit. I would like to program this unit to be controlled from my cars home link system. Is this possible? If so do I follow the same instructions as for the 450 unit, thanks, Arun.
Answer: Per your recent email inquiry, you must first follow the instructions on your automobiles user manual to program the frequency of the LiftMaster Star450 receiver into your ‘HomeLink’ system using an actual working transmitter, then you “ADD” the ‘HomeLink’ in your vehicle to the receiver by programming it like any other transmitter.
